HARVEY FARBER is senior vice president of Technology Flavors & Fragrances with over 30 years experience working with essential oils in the flavor industry as a flavor chemist. Mr. Farber is the past president of Chemical Sourcing Association and currently serves as a committee member for the Flavor Extract and Manufacturers Association.
CAROL SCHILLER is the author of five books on the use of essential oils. Ms. Schiller instructs training workshops for businesses, educational organizations, and colleges; and speaks at international conferences. She consults for companies looking for organic and wildcrafted essential oils; and is the co-director of the International Aromatherapy and Herb Association.
KEN GOODGER is one of the founding members and is a director of Norfolk Essential Oils, a co-op that grows and distills essential oils in England. Ken has been involved in the essential oil industry for 7 years and produces pesticide-free essential oils.

ALEXANDRE DRAMISSIOTIS is the founder of a company in Madagascar that produces essential oils from wild-grown plants and trees. The company practices ecological conservation by leaving the integrity of the forest intact where the materials are harvested.
EDWARD STAPLES, Ph.D. is managing director and chief executive officer for Electronic Sensor Technology. Dr. Staples is the inventor of the zNose, the world's first and only electronic nose able to separate and quantify the chemistry of any odor, fragrance, or smell in 10 seconds. For the past 10 years, Dr. Staples has led a team of scientists and engineers in the development of electronic nose technology addressing the need for quality control of a diverse array of aromatic products such as in herbs and spices, beverages, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. Dr. Staples is a member of the American Chemical Society, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers ("IEEE") with over 50 technical publications. He has also served as an associate editor of the IEEE Transaction on Sonics and Ultrasonics.
ALBAN MULLER is the founder and president of Alban Muller International, a producer of high quality botanical ingredients, based in France. Mr. Muller is well respected as a leading innovator in the natural cosmetic ingredient industry. He has authored many technical articles, and lectures throughout the world.
ROBERT ROGERS is a lecturer, researcher, herbalist, author, and is the vice president and chair of research and development for the Alberta New Crops Network, in Canada. The network helps to advise agricultural producers on growing specialty crops, medicinal herbs, essential oils and plants with nutraceutical and functional food potential. Robert is the author of Scents of Wonder, Plants of the Prairies. The book offers insight for commercial enterprises producing essential oils.
DR. RAY MARRIOTT has a Ph.D. in biochemistry and is chief executive and R&D director of Botanix Ltd., a company that specializes in extraction of plant materials for a wide range of applications. He is a member of the UK Government Industry Forum on Non-Food Uses of Crops, and vice chairman of the British Herb Trade Association.
HORST M. RECHELBACHER is an active environmentalist, innovative business leader, author and artist. He was the founder of Aveda Corporation in 1978, a global plant-based cosmetic company, which he later sold to Estee Lauder. In the mid 1990's he started Intelligent Nutrients, a biodynamic and organic based herbal food and food supplement corporation.
